Attention! The “Senior Citizens of Bakersfield Social Events” calendar is ready for 2025-2026!
 

If you are 50+ and would like to meet others (Deaf, Hard-of Hearing, DeafBlind, and Late Deafened) in the community, please join us! The group meets on the second Thursday at different restaurants for either breakfast or lunch.
 

NOTE: If you are late-deafened/hard-of-hearing and still learning American Sign Language (ASL) please remember this event will immerse you into the culture and language and speed up the learning process. So do not worry! You are also welcome and you will be okay!
