Solo-musical-comedy “ANXIETY THE MUSICAL! (do you like that title? is that okay?)” will be at this year’s Hollywood Fringe Festival with an ASL interpreted performance.
The show is an exploration of mental health, packed with original music, character monologues, and audience interaction. Drawing from true events, the show seeks connection through laughter, and strives to remind audiences that no one is alone in their discomfort.
Written and performed by Jasmine Elist, the bulk of the show takes place in a singular location: an airplane. Because what is more anxiety inducing than being trapped in a vessel, up in the air, with hundreds of strangers?
After sold-out shows at The Elysian, the Groundlings, Upright Citizens Brigade, and The Lyric Hyperion, the team is thrilled to bring the show to the Hollywood Fringe Festival.
Directed by Laura Donney. And assistant directed by Michael Ryan Cleland.
